Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flavor manufacturing or a similar industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for operational efficiency.
Job duties and responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

Manage daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring production targets,quality standards, and safety regulations are met.

Oversee production schedules, inventory management, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, supervisors, and other key personnel.

Implement training programs and performance evaluations to enhance team skills and productivity.

Quality Assurance:
-
Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Address and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.

Process Improvement:
-
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to drive operational excellence.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Develop and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Maintenance of equipment and utilities:
-
Oversee the maintenance of critical machinery, equipment, and infrastructure to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

Define, implement and follow-up preventive maintenance schedule.

Negotiate contracts and monitor subcontractor's performance and costs.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage the operational budget, including cost control and financial forecasting.

Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Reporting:

prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlightingperformance metrics, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Food/Dairy/Engineering or a related field. An MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.

Experience in flavor manufacturing or a related industry is highly desirable.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
