Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba (Fully Onsite)
Job Type: Full-time, Contract (2-3 years)
About Our Client:

Our client, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking an experienced IT Change Management Consultant to support the implementation of a new regulatory assurance solution (RAS). This is a transformative strategic initiative that will impact work processes and responsibilities across the organization and change how many stakeholders access services.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an IT Change Management Consultant to work with our client project sponsor to develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy that ensures a smooth transition to the new RAS. The successful candidate will have experience in managing large-scale IT projects, particularly in the public sector, and will be responsible for advising the organization on strategies and plans to launch the RAS, creating and assisting with the implementation of engagement strategies, and developing change management tools.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide tools, templates, and additional resources for practical change management
  • Provide administrative and technological assistance for the implemented solutions
  • Allow for the customization and adaptation of solutions to align with organizational culture
  • Assist in creating and executing a cost-effective internal change management training program
  • Deliver training programs to enhance skills for crucial change management roles
  • Map a portfolio for change and manage the portfolio for change by assessing both the collective change initiatives and the overall impact they are having
  • Develop ways of receiving continuous feedback from staff affected by the changes to inform continuous improvement of change management approaches
Key Deliverables:
  • Change management presentations
  • A change sustainability plan for continuous improvement
  • Educational materials such as guides, online resources, and other training materials
  • Weekly or monthly reports, analysis, presentations, diagrams, spreadsheets, and change management policies and procedures

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT change management, particularly in the public sector
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale IT projects
  • Experience with commercial-off-the-shelf solutions and business process re-engineering
  • Strong understanding of regulatory best practices and legislative mandates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and project teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Type:
  • Fixed term contract

Contract length:
  • 36 months (2-3 years depending on needs of the organization)

Pay:
  • $60.00-$80.00 per hour

Expected hours:
  • 37.5 per week

Flexible language requirement:
  • French not required

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
