Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled EDI Consultant to create a more inclusive, diverse, accessible, and equitable work environment for one of our health care clients in GTA. As an EDI Consultant, you will play a critical role in guiding, developing and implementing effective policies that promote equity, diversity, and inclusivity across all HR functions. It is a contract hybrid opportunity in GTA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a thorough assessment of existing HR policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Facilitate workshops or focus groups with HR staff, Executives, EDI committee, and other stakeholders
  • Recommend best practices in EDI relevant to our industry and incorporate them into our HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Provide a written report with a detailed EDI strategy, including short-term and long-term recommendations, training for all staff, and support and guidelines for implementation.
  • Offer training sessions for HR personnel on EDI principles and practices.

Requirements

  • Should have minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in healthcare sector will be an asset
